We had a free weekend and decided we would use it to go visit Grandma Smith on her farm in Carmangay Alberta! It was finally feeling more springy and we had a great time! We were able to get some of her yard work done for her...which the girls loved...using all the gardening tools! Then we went for a hike...and Mike showed us all his childhood memories from the farm. Then we pulled out the ball and bat and spent hours hitting the ball around! Grandma had cupcakes for us to decorate and they turned out so beautiful and were fun to eat! When the girls were exhausted and it was time for bed...they were so excited to find 3 snuggly bears on the bed!! So cute! We had a great weekend...and look forward to more visits soon! Thank you Grandma Smith!!

I just talked to Gram and she told me all about the weekend!!! She LOVED having you all there and said that you all did so much work to help her and that the little girls were just a pure joy and delight to have! So nice you can zip down for a weekend. She loved every minute of your visit! Now zip on over to Port Moody... it is only about 8 hours longer than Gram's - no problem. We need some visitors.
