Salt Lake City Weekend -- A quick trip to Provo

Saturday we first stopped at Grandma & Max's place for a quick visit and to drop off my mom so she could lunch with her sisters. We didnt want to idly sit by so we attempted to help Grandma with her ironing! Sounds easy enough...but oh no...it was not! She did not want us to do her ironing! She would try dashing off with the iron, she would sit on the ironing pile....she would shift things out of site so we couldnt find them! But alas despite all her interruptions, we were able to whittle her pile down! We then headed to Provo to see my Grandma and Grandpa Bullock! They were waiting on their front step for us! We chose to go to Magleby's a place we used to eat while at BYU!
This was such a fun visit as we caught up on all the happenings in the family! Grandpa was in great spirits and cracking jokes! So fun!!

We decided to share a small dessert and thought the chocolate cake was a good choice off the verbal menu...the verbal menu did not divulge how LARGE the chocolate cake was...and we burst into tears of laughter when this was brought out!

It was delicious and we almost finished off the whole thing between 4 of us!

We then went back to Grandma's house and we first looked at all her beautiful roses!! They were stunning!

After our trip to Provo we had time to visit for a little while longer with Grandma and Max before heading to the airport! They are so cute!
This was the end of our weekend! We had such a great time and it went by far too fast! Opportunities like this dont come often that we can be together...so Im glad we took advantage while we could! It was so great to see everyone and revisit all those places that hold so many memories for me! We loved our years in Utah and love to revisit!
